National Recovery Plan: Renewable Energy Source (RES) installations implemented by energy communities
A reference project of the Warsaw Energy Cluster CEZAMAT Hub of Power, concerning the expansion and installation of renewable energy generation sources together with accompanying infrastructure, the purchase and installation of energy storage systems integrated with RES generation units, and the implementation of a system supporting energy management, energy community management, and energy optimization.
Description
The project is a comprehensive undertaking in the field of construction and development of renewable energy installations implemented by an energy cluster. The project aims to optimize the energy efficiency of cluster members by increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in their energy profile.
The project includes:
– expansion and installation of renewable energy sources along with accompanying infrastructure;
– purchase and installation of energy storage facilities coupled with renewable energy generation units;
– implementation of an energy management support system;
– construction of a hybrid energy generation and storage system at CEZAMAT PW, consisting of photovoltaic electricity generators and an energy storage facility.
Main objective of the project
The main objective of the project is to create a reference center for the development of technologies, business models, and legal models addressed to energy communities as part of a demonstration project implementing the “Green University” concept.
Specific goals include:
– creating a platform for communication with entities cooperating within the Cluster;
– improving energy security;
– improving the local natural environment;
– stimulating innovation in the development of new technologies related to energy management;
– strengthening cooperation with research centers;
– promoting environmental and energy education;
– promoting model solutions for microgrid management in Poland.
