Project

Night vision goggle system with an enlarged viewing angle

Description

The goal of this project is to develop a new night vision monocular that uses optical caps to increase the viewing angle while maintaining high image quality in the center of the image. The primary challenge is to ensure that the final product meets strict optical and durability requirements and is practical and functional for end-users such as the military, pilots, and emergency services. The project is divided into three phases. The first phase focuses on developing the optical cap concept and creating prototypes and demonstrators. The second phase involves producing a series of demonstrators for uniformity and high optical quality, as well as endurance and climate testing. The final phase, in compliance with the Ministry of Defence’s requirements, will involve the production of the end product. This project has the potential to have a significant impact on the night vision market by providing a solution that enhances situational awareness while maintaining high image quality and eas.
