CEZAMAT WUT Honored at Defence24 Days 2026
We are extremely pleased to announce that CEZAMAT – Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies of the Warsaw University of Technology was honored during this year’s Defence24 Days gala as part of the Eagles of Security awards.
The award was granted in the category of “Technological Sovereignty” for the completion of the first technological line dedicated to research and manufacturing of experimental semiconductor devices. The developed infrastructure opens new opportunities for the design and production of advanced microelectronics and photonics solutions with applications in both the civil and defence sectors.
The Eagles of Security awards are presented to companies, institutions, and individuals who make a significant contribution to strengthening the defence capabilities of the Republic of Poland and promoting Polish technological innovation worldwide. We are especially proud that the initiatives carried out at CEZAMAT WUT have been recognized among leaders of innovation and the security sector.
The award on behalf of CEZAMAT WUT was received by our Director, Mariusz Wielec, who also participated in the discussion panel during Defence24 Days:
“Industry 4.0 in the Defence Sector – Digitalization, AI and Additive Manufacturing”
The panel also featured:

The discussion provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and address the future directions of advanced technologies for industry and security.
