CEZAMAT launches activities towards PolSemiCom
CEZAMAT of the Warsaw University of Technology is initiating activities towards PolSemiCom – the Polish Center for Semiconductor Competence. This joint initiative brings together key scientific and technological institutions in Poland: CEZAMAT WUT, AGH University of Krakow, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, and the Polish Technological Platform on Photonics (PPTF).
The aim of PolSemiCom is to combine scientific, infrastructural, and technological expertise and to create a platform for cooperation between academia, public administration, and industry. The initiative will support the development of semiconductor design and technologies, facilitate technology transfer, and actively integrate Polish institutions and companies into the European microelectronics ecosystem.
We are pleased to collaborate with InnoSemi – a competence centre operating within the European ACCESS network. Together, we can strengthen cooperation, combine expertise, and build a strong semiconductor ecosystem in Poland and across Europe.
On Tuesday, 10 March, during a meeting marking the launch of PolSemiCom activities, representatives of academia, public administration, and technology institutions came together, including:
- Dariusz Łukaszewski – Deputy Director, Department of Innovation and Space Policy, Ministry of Development and Technology
- Piotr Guzdek, PhD – Director, Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics (Łukasiewicz – IMiF)
- Anna Szerling – Polish Technological Platform on Photonics (PPTF)
- Prof. Rafał Walczak – Dean, Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems, Wrocław University of Science and Technology
