CEZAMAT WUT Innovations in Ursynów: A Report from the 2025 Science Festival
Last Friday, May 23, we had the pleasure of participating in the 2025 Ursynów Science Festival, held at the “Alternatywy” Cultural Center.
During the event, we showcased a range of innovative solutions in the field of modern technology—developed in laboratories but designed to have a tangible impact on everyday life and societal challenges. Visitors had the opportunity to explore applications of printed electronics and textronics, watch live demonstrations of semiconductor devices, and speak with students presenting their projects—including members of the “Venturi” Student Research Group for Chemical and Process Engineering.
One of the highlights was a well-attended lecture by Senior Research Officer Filip Budny titled “21st Century Printed Electronics Safeguarding Our Water”, in which participants learned how advanced technologies contribute to water conservation and sustainable development.
The festival was not only a platform for presenting research outcomes but—perhaps more importantly—a chance to engage in meaningful conversations with local residents, students, and science enthusiasts. Events like these remind us why it is so important to develop technologies that truly serve people.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and took part in the festival activities! Your interest, questions, and inspiring conversations are a tremendous source of motivation for us.
