Position title: Portfolio Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with minimum of ten years of practical experience in the domain of product, product line or portfolio management in a high pace, technological environment. The person in this position will coordinate and prioritize research activities based on market needs and business partner interest, manage product development as well as product roadmaps, and oversee the full product lifecycle from concept, through development, to market launch and post launch support. Looking for a self-starter who can work independently and demonstrate leadership qualities allowing them to spearhead and pilot key initiatives while managing multiple stakeholders.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Creating and developing the current product and service offering at the level of complete solutions, based on the Centre’s existing resources (products, technologies, services, IP) and available production and service capabilities.
  • Comprehensive management of the product (and/or service) lifecycle (PLM) from concept, through requirements definition (so-called landing zone), full development process, to market launch and post-launch support.
  • Developing and continuously managing the product and service portfolio roadmap, based on verified market needs and expectations.
  • Defining requirements for future products and services based on the voice of market and collaboration with key clients.
  • Systematically monitoring the market and conducting analyses of technological trends and market expectations.
  • Supporting presales activities as a technical expert, including participating in proposal preparation and engaging in dialogue with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Guiding and coordinating research and development activities in response to real market demand, influencing the product roadmap.

 

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in product marketing, product management and/or technology project/program management with a hardware focus, gained in reputable organizations operating in international markets
  • Solid experience in strategic and comprehensive management of the full product lifecycle (Product Lifecycle Management) – from concept, through design and engineering development, launch, full-scale production, to service and end-of-life.
  • Fluent English, required for daily work. Polish at a minimum at a communicative level.
  • Scientific degree, min. MSc in electronics, microelectronics, photonics, physics or other related engineering field.
  • Proven ability to transform ambiguity into clear strategies and convert complex, unstructured challenges into organized, efficient processes
  • High level of independence and proactivity in decision-making and execution.
  • Experience in project or team leadership roles.
  • MBA and/or PMP certification is a plus.
