RESEARCHER on the project entitled “Coating to prevent infections and blockage of catheters applied in implantable cerebrospinal fluid drainage systems. (CoatDrain)”, contract no.: LIDER15/0045/2024, funded by the LIDER programme of the National Centre for Research and Development
Location, Employment Form, and Conditions:
- Commission agreement or other type of agreement (190 hours under task 1, employment period: 01 May– 31 July 2026).
- Workplace: on-site work at Cezamat, Warsaw University of Technology
- Contract Duration: 3 months between May and July;
- Role: Participation in a prestigious research project titled ” entitled “Coating to prevent infections and blockages in drains used in implantable cerebrospinal fluid drainage systems”.
Responsibilities in the Research Team
- Participation in laboratory work within the project: developing a method for adhesive layer forming part of biopassive coatings on silicone films,
- Physicochemical analysis and compilation of the results of these coatings’ analyses in collaboration with the Project Manager,
- Preparation of documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in working in a biomaterials engineering laboratory that includes research on polymers,
- FTIR-ATR, goniometric determination of the contact angle,
- Students of materials engineering, bioengineering, chemistry or related disciplines are welcome,
- Teamwork and communication skills,
- English language at professional level.
Recruitment Process:
- Document Review: Application documents will be reviewed by the recruitment committee.
- Interviews: Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person or remote interview.
- Evaluation: The committee will summarize findings, and results will be emailed to candidates and posted on the CEZAMAT website within 10 days of completing the recruitment process.

Providing your personal data is voluntary but necessary for the recruitment process. - Purpose of Processing:
Your personal data will be processed solely for the recruitment process. - Your Rights:
You have the right to:- Access, rectify, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data.
- Object to data processing.
- Note: Since the processing basis is not consent, the right to data portability does not apply.
- Data Transfers:

Your data may be shared with:- The Consortium Leader, the Managing Entity, or other entities authorized by law.
- Data Processors:
Entities performing processing-related tasks under the Controller’s mandate may access your data. - Automated Decision-Making:
The WUT does not employ automated decision-making or profiling regarding your personal data. - Retention Period:
Your data will be retained for the duration of the recruitment process and thereafter as necessary for legal claims or other statutory requirements. - Right to Complain:
If you believe the processing of your personal data violates GDPR, you may file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland.
