Job Announcement:
Technical Support/ Scientific and Technical Specialist for Electrode Manufacturing in Research Team:
„Personalized Diagnostics of Vascular Endothelium in Oncology Therapy; Towards Modern Vascular-Oncology” (ADEVASCO)

Location, Employment Form, and Conditions:
• Employment contract for 0.4 full-time equivalent (FTE);
• On site work, workplace: Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT, Warsaw University of Technology, 19 Poleczki Street, 02-822 Warsaw;
• Contract Duration: Initial 3-month probation period, with a total contract duration of 48 months, including the probationary period;
• Role: Participation in a prestigious research project titled „Personalized Diagnostics of Vascular Endothelium in Oncology Therapy; Towards Modern Vascular-Oncology” – ADEVASCO.

Responsibilities:
• Manufacturing of electrodes on a selected substrate using printing techniques;
• Development of paste compositions for screen printing and their application in electrode fabrication;
• Development of sputtering parameters (gold coating) for selected conductive substrates in order to obtain electrodes with desired properties.

Role in the Research Team:
The person employed in the position will play the role of technical staff described in the project application. The role of the Employee will be responsible for specific stages of research, designing and conducting experiments and supporting the methodology of other members of the project team.

Requirements:
• Completed higher education (university degree);
• Skills in designing screens and stencils for printing techniques;
• Knowledge of printing techniques, with particular emphasis on screen printing;
• Experience with operating laser cutters;
• Familiarity with technical software, including AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Inventor, or SolidWorks;
• Compliance with non-compete rules in accordance with the WIB program guidelines;
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure;
• Communicative and technical proficiency in both Polish and English;
• Knowledge of sputtering techniques, particularly in the fabrication of metallic layers.

Obligations Under the Project Agreement:
The recruited team member has to:
• Maintain confidentiality regarding project-related information, especially Intellectual Property (IP).
• Avoid any professional activities exceeding 276 hours per month across all engagements.
• Refrain from direct or indirect competitive activities that could compromise IP protection or commercialization.
• Transfer intellectual property rights to the Warsaw University of Technology in a way that ebnables further transfer to the State Treasury, represented by the relevant minister.
• Cooperate on securing IP protection and commercialization, including authorizing IP owners to exercise moral rights.

Recruitment Process:
• Document Review: Application documents will be reviewed by the recruitment committee.
• Interviews: Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person or remote interview.
• Evaluation: The committee will summarize findings, and results will be emailed to candidates and posted on the CEZAMAT website within 10 days of completing the recruitment process.

Candidate Evaluation Criteria:
1. Possession of higher education; verification based on submitted documents;
2. Skills in designing screens and stencils for printing techniques, including sample designs;
3. Scope of knowledge and experience in printing techniques, with particular emphasis on screen printing;
4. Scope of knowledge of technical software, including AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Inventor, or SolidWorks;
5. Communicative and technical proficiency in Polish and English;
6. Scope of knowledge of sputtering techniques, with particular focus on the fabrication of metallic layers;

Criteria (2–6) will be scored from 0 to 6 by each committee member, with 14 points required for consideration.
In case of ties, points from criteria (2, 3, 4) will determine the final decision.

• Data Processors:
Entities performing processing-related tasks under the Controller’s mandate may access your data.

The WUT does not employ automated decision-making or profiling regarding your personal data.
• Retention Period:
Your data will be retained for the duration of the recruitment process and thereafter as necessary for legal claims or other statutory requirements.
• Right to Complain:
If you believe the processing of your personal data violates GDPR, you may file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland.
