Warsaw to host key events for the European semiconductor sector
In May 2025, Warsaw will become a central meeting point for discussions about the future of semiconductors. The Warsaw University of Technology will host three interrelated events that will bring together researchers, engineers, and technology experts from across Europe.
EUROSOI-ULIS 2025 | May 14–16, 2025 | Main Campus, WUT
For the first time in Poland, the international scientific conference EUROSOI-ULIS will take place, focusing on topics such as SOI technology, nanoscale device design and modeling, system integration, and research on materials and structures for next-generation electronics.
The event combines two well-established conferences: the EUROSOI Workshop and ULIS (Ultimate Integration on Silicon), which for years have served as an important platform for knowledge exchange between academic and industrial communities in Europe.
Satellite Workshops at CEZAMAT | May 12–13, 2025
Just before the main conference, CEZAMAT of Warsaw University of Technology invites participants to two specialized workshops dedicated to breakthrough semiconductor technologies:
ICOS Satellite Workshop (May 12–13)
Organized as part of the ICOS (International Cooperation On Semiconductors) project, this workshop will focus on advanced approaches to semiconductor technology and system-level
integration. The event will bring together experts from European R&D centers and representatives of the semiconductor industry.
FAMES Open-Access Workshop (May 13)
A session under the FAMES project, where participants will learn how to access advanced research infrastructure and the pilot production line for FD SOI devices. The workshop will focus on open-access principles and opportunities for collaboration with European technology development centers.
May 12–16, 2025 will be a week in which Warsaw hosts key representatives of the scientific and industrial microelectronics communities. We warmly welcome researchers, engineers, R&D leaders, and anyone interested in the future of semiconductor technologies.
