Piotr Kowalczyk, MSc. Eng.



Graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry (MSc Eng. 2016), currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. His interests include biomaterials, synthesis of polymer nanoparticles, cell cultures and methods of testing the usefulness of polymer-ceramic materials in regenerative medicine. He is particularly interested in 3D printing and the use of stem cells.

  • In vitro tests of biomaterials (cell cultures, viability and metabolic activity tests, confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, gene expression)
  • 3D printing (cellular scaffolds, flow systems for synthesis)
  • Design and modeling of biomaterials production processes
