CEZAMAT Included in the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap!

10 August 2026

We are pleased to announce that the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies CEZAMAT at Warsaw University of Technology has been included in the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap (PMIB).

The inclusion follows a call conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the 2024–2026 update of the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap. Our infrastructure has been recognised as national research infrastructure in the field of physical sciences and engineering.

This is an important distinction for CEZAMAT and a recognition of the research potential of the infrastructure we have been consistently developing. It enables us to support the development of innovative technologies in microelectronics, photonics and thin-film technologies – from prototyping and advanced characterisation and diagnostic methods to small-scale production.

Our plans for further development include the establishment of new laboratories, as well as the continued expansion of our capabilities in semiconductor technologies. The infrastructure is being developed to support collaboration with the scientific community and industry within ambitious research and development projects, while also contributing to the education and training of future generations of specialists.

We are delighted that the potential of our infrastructure has been recognised through its inclusion in the Polish Research Infrastructure Roadmap. It is a source of pride for us, but also an incentive to continue developing and strengthening the research infrastructure that supports Polish science and advanced technologies.
