RESEARCHER on the project entitled „Coating to prevent infections and blockage of catheters applied in implantable cerebrospinal fluid drainage systems (CoatDrain)”, contract no.: LIDER15/0045/2024, funded by the LIDER programme of the National Centre for Research and Development
Location, Employment Form, and Conditions:
- Civil-law agreement (69 hours under task 3, employment period: 02 November– 31 December 2026).
- Workplace: on-site work at Cezamat, Warsaw University of Technology
- Contract Duration: 2 months,
- Role: Participation in a research project entitled “Coating to prevent infections and blockage of catheters applied in implantable cerebrospinal fluid drainage systems”.
Responsibilities in the Research Team
- Participation in project activities carried out in the laboratory, including cell culture and analysis aimed at evaluating the properties of the developed coatings in contact with cells.
- Analysis and interpretation of the results obtained for the coatings in cooperation with the Project Manager
- Preparation of documentation.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a biological and/or chemical laboratory, including preparation of solutions, concentration calculations, and basic cell culture procedures such as thawing cells from cryopreservation, cell freezing, medium replacement, and cell passaging.
- Students of materials engineering, bioengineering, chemistry, or related fields are welcome to apply.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and good communication skills.
- Good command of English.
Recruitment Process:
- Document Review: Application documents will be reviewed by the recruitment committee.
- Interviews: Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person or remote interview.
- Evaluation: The committee will summarize findings, and results will be emailed to candidates and posted on the CEZAMAT website within 10 days of completing the recruitment process.
If none of the candidates meet the requirements or obtain the minimum number of points, we reserve the right not to select any candidate.
The results of the recruitment process are final and cannot be appealed.

- Note: Since the processing basis is not consent, the right to data portability does not apply.

- Data Processors:
Entities performing processing-related tasks under the Controller’s mandate may access your data. - Automated Decision-Making:
The WUT does not employ automated decision-making or profiling regarding your personal data. - Retention Period:
Your data will be retained for the duration of the recruitment process and thereafter as necessary for legal claims or other statutory requirements. - Right to Complain:
If you believe the processing of your personal data violates GDPR, you may file a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in Poland.
