Job Announcement:

2 positions as researcher/specialist/research assistant/assistant professor in ASIC design in the project „FD-SOI Pilot Line for Applications with embedded non-volatile Memories, RF, 3D integration and PMIC, to ensure European Sovereignty” (FAMES) funded by Horizon Europe Authorities under GA 101182279 and Ministry of Science and Higer Education Republic of Poland under GA No. MNiSW/2025/DIR/849

 

Location, Employment Form, and Conditions:

• Employment Type: employment contract (min. 0,5 FTE), commission agreement or other type of agreement.
• Workplace: Warsaw University of Technology
• Contract Duration: Initial 3-month probation period, with a total contract duration of minimum 18 months, including the probationary period.
• Role: Participation in a prestigious research project titled „FD-SOI Pilot Line for Applications with embedded non-volatile Memories, RF, 3D integration and PMIC, to ensure European Sovereignty”

 

 Responsibilities in the Research Team

• Designing IP blocks for ASIC integrated circuits using CMOS technologies
• Designing a test environment for simulating and verifying IP blocks in ASIC integrated circuits
• Designing IP block topography for ASIC integrated circuits
• Simulation verification of IP block designs for ASIC integrated circuits
• Formal verification of circuits
• Participating in the development of concept and architecture for in-memory computing, AI, and hardware security
• Documentation preparation

 

Requirements:

• Higher education (engineering or higher) in electronics, specializing in microelectronics or a related field
• Experience in integrated circuit design
• Knowledge and proficiency in using the Cadence or Siemens/Synopsys design environment and the Linux operating system
• Knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog languages
• Knowledge of FD-SOI technology would be an advantage
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good command of English

 

Recruitment Process:

• Document Review: Application documents will be reviewed by the recruitment committee.
• Interviews: Selected candidates will be invited for an in-person or remote interview.
• Evaluation: The committee will summarize findings, and results will be emailed to candidates and posted on the CEZAMAT website within 10 days of completing the recruitment process.
