Enhancing CCI skills and knowledge in Advanced Technologies for more competitive and inclusive products and services (ECLECTIC-CE)

Project
Enhancing CCI skills and knowledge in Advanced Technologies for more competitive and inclusive products and services.

Description
A project aimed at strengthening the skills and knowledge of representatives of the creative sector in the field of advanced technologies. Many regions of Central Europe have areas with strong industrial and cultural traditions, which at the same time face challenges related to technological and economic transformation. Entities operating in the cultural and creative industries often encounter difficulties in implementing new technologies and developing innovative products and services.
The ECLECTIC-CE project addresses these challenges by fostering cooperation between the creative sector and providers of advanced technologies. This enables the creation of new solutions and enhances the competitiveness of regional innovation ecosystems.

In particular, the project aims to:
• develop technological competencies among representatives of the creative industries,
• supporting cooperation between creative enterprises, universities and business support institutions,
• increasing the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, robotics and virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies,
• creating innovative products and services with high added value.
The project activities will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the creative sector and enhancing its ability to operate in new, emerging markets, retaining young talent in the regions, creating new jobs, and strengthening the innovative potential of enterprises and institutions operating in the creative sector.
The Warsaw University of Technology is participating in the project, represented by the Centre for Advanced Materials and Technologies (CEZAMAT).
The activities carried out by the Warsaw University of Technology will focus on conducting analyses of the technological needs of the creative sector in the Mazovia region, co-developing a strategy for the development of technological competences, and testing training programmes for students. As part of the project, students will develop skills related to the use of advanced technologies in the operations of creative enterprises, and the results of the pilot scheme will be used to update the curricula.
